Essentials for Spiritual Living as shared by Jesus...

LOVE.

FORGIVE.

GIVE THANKS.

DO NOT JUDGE.

Is there a picture of God and humankind that can be formed by joining the core concepts of God, faith, and wisdom, from the world’s religions?
Could it be, the wholeness and totality of God can be more fully understood as a result?
Is it possible the Creator revealed itself to every people, race and tribe in deeply personal ways that served each through their unique cultural lens and historical time of the revelation;
Resulting in “Universal Truths” that exist to serve, enlighten, for the mutual benefit of humankind.

The irony of encountering religious zealots in public places shouting warnings of Hell and the need to turn to Jesus, is that when Jesus stood in public and spoke out to his followers it was of the Kingdom of Heaven and the need to turn away from religious zealots.

Is it possible the core reason why it is said that one should never engage in conversations about religion is that beneath the surface there exists an element which keeps those who adhere to a religious system in a perpetual state of confusion, separation, powerlessness and ultimately apathy?
The fact that is quite difficult for most of us to reasonably come together and discuss the subject of God seems evidence enough that the result of organized religion fails to present us with essential truth and rational, universal concepts that inspire, enlighten and unify those who seek to uphold its tenets.

I humbly suggest not to "over sell" any particular Religious Belief System or Guide for Spiritual Practice.

They each offer something beautiful, unique and of very great value. But - there’s no "perfect" system or practice. And if there is one, our attempts to operate "perfectly" within that system are most often flawed.

Satisfaction may be found in discovering how profound our reality is and how the concept of "Being one with the Father" and "Being the Light" exists within our everyday, commonplace events to lead and inspire us to go further with our spiritual journey.

Enlightenment can be measured by the degree we recognize the higher purpose for the weeds that appear in our garden landscape.

In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
Trust is an acceptance deep within - that results in an ever present reality - that the unforgivable mistake we've made or the painful adversity we're going through or once endured will be used for our own growth with the potential for us to be of greater service to others.

A house divided against itself cannot stand ... Matthew 12:25
The ancient religious construct of original sin, the inherent fallen nature of human kind, and considering oneself as a "wretch" collides and exists in a never ending personal conflict when held to the new reality brought forth by Jesus that we exist as THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD and our ability to illustrate LOVE OF OUR NEIGHBOR is the direct result of the love we cultivate for OURSELVES.

The Measure You Give is the Measure You Receive. Luke 6:38
The same power that holds the planets in place resides in some measure within each one of us. Our journey in life is to seek and find that power. The measure we seek and turn to this Light is the measure we will recognize its methods and manifest its ways.
A shift occurs once we begin to sense even the slightest glimmer of our own Light. It is then we realize that THE SAME LIGHT EXISTS WITHIN ALL PEOPLE. This realization often serves us as the shift from a "Group Mindset" to one rooted in a "Universal Prospective."
