Considerations for Spiritual Living
in Our Modern Times..

My life has been formed by two things - One, as a music artist, dedicated and inspired by the pursuit, study and practice of creating music. The other, as a seeker of God, inspired to pursue, study and experience life in a way that connected me to the God I'd been seeking.
From experiences playing music, I learned what skills I personally needed to study, practice and use to interact better with other musicians. I also learned how to discern the overall needs of the music group; making adjustments for things like volume or tempo. My goal was for the music to sound and feel better by determining what we collectively needed to focus on "as a group" to improve our performance.
Ironically, both areas of my life - spirituality and musicality - started coming together in a unique way. Spiritually speaking, using music as a metaphor, I became aware, “the music I was making didn’t feel good or sound good to me anymore.” I discovered the mainstream focus and study of God that I’d accepted from traditional Christian Churches, hadn’t nearly created the result I originally desired. I believe this is something others may feel as well...
So spiritually speaking (similarly to my approach to music), I made specific changes to my “study and practice routine” with the intent to spend my life “making better music that actually felt good, made sense to me and was produced a sweet enough sound, that I'd want to share it with others.”
The result has been rewarding and God inspired, full of beneficial, inspirational insights and personal revelation.
But at the same time, I recognize there is a tension that results in recurring challenges throughout the pursuit of transcendence.
My own personal Spiritual Path remains a continual journey and process of personal refinement.
The dialogs I share in The Light Messages are the questions and considerations from this experience and the resulting revelation I've received. It's my sincere hope they may serve others who may be following a similar road map or looking for direction on their own spiritual journey.
